HEADTEACHER (L2-L5) As part of our exciting journey to transform our school and
move it forward, another opportunity has arisen due to the sudden relocation of
our long-standing Deputy Headteacher and the subsequent internal promotion of
our current Assistant Headteacher . We are looking for an experienced practitioner who is able
to join our recently evolved leadership team, to build on the substantial
progress made in recent years and to support the Headteacher move school into a
new phase of its improvement journey. The ideal candidate will have ‘measure’ and be a calm and
reliable presence around school, able to draw on their experience to assure
others around them and be a visible beacon of leadership excellence. They will have a professional disposition and
have the courage to hold challenging conversations when standards fall short – ensuring
ambition for all children. The successful person will oversee Achievement across our
two-site school and be responsible for collating assessment data, analysing
patterns and trends, and monitoring standards against national benchmarks, in
order to inform the curriculum and what our provision looks like over time. The
role will also hold a responsibility for ensuring and monitoring the impact of
wider personal development opportunities for the children outside of the
classroom. In recent years, the school has made substantial progress
under a new name and new set of values.

recognise that the timing of this opportunity falls out of the notice period
window for a September start. Whilst the
position is intended to start from January 2027 for the right candidate, we’d
ideally like the successful person to start much sooner or play a part in our development
