Key Responsibilities To help prepare, monitor and maintain a safe and secure learning environment in line with the teacherβs lesson plans. To work under the direct supervision of a teacher to carry out planned learning activities with small groups or individual pupils, providing feedback on their engagement in activities and their achievement of the desired learning objectives. Encouraging a high standard of behaviour, develop relationship with others and recognize and deal with emotions in an appropriate way To prepare and utilise ICT resources to support pupils learning. To prepare and support the use of learning materials and create visual displays, in accordance with the requirements of the teacher, in order to facilitate a relevant physical learning environment. Main Duties and responsibilities: To maintain a duty of care for all children that attend the Extended Services Wraparound Care To establish and maintain positive relationships with children and Extended Services provision teams. To maintain communication with the Extended Services Support Lead, and Deputy Lead. To provide care and encouragement to children and young people with disabilities or special educational needs, supporting them to participate in activities and liaising, if required, with parents / carers / other professionals as appropriate. We are looking for someone who has: Ideal candidates will have experience of working with children and be committed to providing our pupils with a safe and enjoyable childcare environment. Experience of working with children in a play, childcare or out of school setting is essential. Level 2 NVQ or CACHE or working towards is desirable. Ability to create and inspirational and stimulating child centred play and care environment.
