Support. Make a Difference. We are seeking a passionate and motivated Food & Nutrition Technician to join our thriving Creative and Technology Faculty at The Romsey School. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering engaging, high-quality practical lessons, supporting both students and staff, and helping to inspire the next generation of chefs, nutritionists and food scientists. While your main focus will be within Food & Nutrition, you will also have the opportunity to support the wider faculty where required. Key Responsibilities Provide an efficient, safe and well-organised technical service to the Food & Nutrition department Support teaching staff and students during practical lessons Prepare and maintain equipment, ingredients and learning spaces Ensure high standards of health and safety, including risk assessments and equipment checks Contribute positively to the wider ethos and day-to-day life of the school What We’re Looking For Experience as a Food Technician (or a willingness to learn and develop in the role) Good subject knowledge alongside strong organisational and communication skills A positive, proactive approach and the ability to work as part of a team A commitment to safeguarding and enhancing the learning experience of all students Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
