About the role: Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a Level 3 qualification, ready to take on a broader and more skilled role? We are looking for committed and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Level 3 Teaching Assistants, helping to make a real difference to the lives of our pupils. At Wilson Stuart School, our pupils have a wide range of complex physical, medical, sensory and learning needs. We are seeking individuals who are compassionate, resilient and passionate about supporting pupils to achieve their full potential. As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will work within one of our pathways — EYFS, Primary, Secondary or Sixth Form — supporting teaching staff and pupils throughout the school day. Your responsibilities will include:

Using specialist skills to meet complex needs, including moving and handling and personal care

Promoting pupils’ social, emotional and physical wellbeing

Supporting pupils to access the curriculum and develop core skills

Providing support for pupils with sensory, physical, cognitive, behavioural and communication needs

Observing, recording and reporting on pupil
