About the Department: We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Music to join our current team across Outwood Academy Valley and Worksop Post 16 Centre. We aim to appoint a music specialist with the skills and passion to be an active member in this popular area of the curriculum, someone who is an outstanding classroom teacher and has high standards both in terms of behaviour and quality of work and will maintain the success and stability of our valued department. The academy is incredibly proud of the quality of its school productions and performing arts. The success of the yearly productions are well received within the local community and the regular music concerts have showcased some amazing talent. The successful applicant with therefore need to be committed to extra-curricular music, developing both soloists and ensembles, and showing an understanding of how music can create some of the best experiences a student may have in the year.
