Salary: Meridian Support Staff Pay Scale Grade 4 point 3 to 5 Actual Annual Salary - £17,266 to £17,815 (FTE £24,796 to £25,583) Hours of Work: 30 hours per week - 8am to 2pm Monday to Friday Term time plus 5 dedicated staff training days (39 weeks) We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, independent and motivated Administrative Assistant to join our new and growing school, which opened in September 2023. This is a unique opportunity to support a strong team and to play a part in helping Weldon Village Academy to go from strength to strength. We will only have Year 7-10 next year (and a very small cohort of Year 11s) but will eventually become a school of 1500 students, including a 6th Form of 300. The role is to provide administrative support across many areas, but with a focus on trips, after school sessions, sporting fixtures and events. Previous experience with Bromcom and/or Evolve would be an advantage but is not essential. The successful candidate will be committed to ensuring that the public face of Weldon Village Academy is a friendly, helpful one, and will also be driven and independent; able to recognise when to prioritise the different elements of the job.
