About the role

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible and committed Breakfast Club Playworker on a casual contract, to join our team of Breakfast Club workers in our welcoming and friendly infant school in Reigate, Surrey.This is a casual supply role and would be ideal for someone who may be looking for ad hoc hours subject to the operational needs of the school. Working hours will be from 7.45am until 9:00am. You will be supporting the social, emotional and physical development of all children, including those with special educational needs. We would like to recruit an individual who will contribute to this ethos and be proactive in moving our school forward. The successful candidate will: Have good interpersonal skills Enjoy working with children and be able to show initiative Be committed to providing children with high quality and enjoyable breakfast experience Have high expectations, together with caring attitude and flexibility Know how to provide the children with a safe and secure environment In addition you will: Have lots of energy and patience Demonstrate good communication skills Have a positive, hardworking attitude Be able to work effectively within a committed team Be committed to inclusion and equality of opportunity We can offer: A dedicated and friendly team of professional teachers and support staff Onsite parking Pension Scheme Applications will be considered upon receipt and we reserve the right to appoint before the advertised closing date. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the successful candidate will be required to have an enhanced DBS check and an overseas criminal records check if you have lived or worked outside the UK within the last 10 years. In accordance with Keeping Children Safe in Education, online checks will also be completed on all candidates shortlisted for interview.
