Position Overview: We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, ambitious and committed Teacher of English to join our successful and highly motivated English department. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking and collaborative team, where there is a shared commitment to excellence in teaching and learning. The successful candidate will be a dynamic practitioner with a genuine passion for English. You will also value English as a foundation for success across the curriculum and beyond and be dedicated to providing students with the strongest possible bedrock for their future learning. We would particularly welcome applications from candidates with an interest in teaching Media Studies at Key Stage 5, and those who are eager to promote creative writing, critical thinking and intellectual curiosity in the classroom. The successful applicant will: Be qualified to teach English across Key Stages 3-5 Hold a degree in English Literature, Language or a related subject Be an excellent communicator with strong organisational skills Be reflective in their practice and committed to ongoing professional development Contribute positively to the wider life of the school We offer high-quality CPD opportunities for all staff, alongside a comprehensive and supportive induction programme for Early Career Teachers.
