Graduate Tutor Salary: Grade 6 (NJC scale points 13 - 17) - £26,045.81 - £27,800.48 Contract: Permanent Start date: 2-year fixed term contract Are you a graduate in Science or French/MFL looking to gain valuable experience in education? Thornhill Academy is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Tutor to provide targeted academic support to students through small-group and one-to-one intervention sessions. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills, gain classroom experience and make a real difference to students' progress and confidence. About the Role As a Graduate Tutor, you will: Deliver engaging intervention sessions in French or Science Support students to close learning gaps and improve outcomes Work with both secondary students and local primary schools Monitor and track student progress Work closely with teachers and curriculum leaders Help create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment What We're Looking For We are seeking someone who: Holds, or is currently studying towards, a degree in Science or French/MFL Has GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills Is organised, reliable and enthusiastic Is passionate about supporting young people to succeed Has an interest in pursuing a career in education or teaching Why Join Thornhill Academy?
