Head of Year Support Grade 4 SCP 7-11 (Β£26,403 to Β£28,142 full time equivalent) Β£22,375.94 to Β£23,849.70 per annum Permanent, term time only plus 3 additional days Full time (37 hours per week) ASAP Start - Do you want to play a key role in supporting a calm, structured and positive school environment where high standards of behaviour are upheld? - Do you have the organisational skills and attention to detail to manage behaviour systems, including detentions and incident follow-up? - Are you confident working with young people, maintaining high expectations while building positive and professional relationships? - Do you have the resilience and professionalism to support students through sanctions, including supervising a withdrawal room? - Are you able to work collaboratively with staff and communicate effectively with parents/carers regarding behaviour matters? - Do you have the ability to identify behaviour patterns and support early intervention to improve student outcomes? Waingels is seeking to appoint a highly organised, proactive and confident individual to join our pastoral team in a key support role. This position plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth and effective operation of our behaviour systems, while maintaining a visible and supportive presence for students. You will work closely with Heads of Year and the wider pastoral team, providing high-quality administrative and operational behaviour support. The role focuses on ensuring robust systems and processes underpin behaviour management, including sanctions, student supervision and incident follow-up.
