Merstham Park School is seeking an exceptional and dedicated Head of Year and Transition Lead to play a pivotal non‑teaching role at the heart of our pastoral provision. Your Opportunity This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on students at a critical stage in their education, guiding them through a smooth and successful transition from primary to secondary school. As the driving force behind the wellbeing, progress and day‑to‑day experience of our Year 7 and Year 8 students, you will champion a culture where every child is known, supported and inspired to thrive academically, socially and emotionally within a safe, ambitious and inclusive environment. What we're looking for: Evidence of commitment to continuing professional learning Able to work with and champion vulnerable children to achieve positive behaviour outcomes Able to promote high standards of behaviour and a good working ethos Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise, plan and manage competing demands.
