About the Role

The Generations Multi Academy Trust is seeking dedicated and

enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join our teams at both

Goffs-Churchgate Academy and Goffs Academy. These are exciting opportunities to

make a real difference in the lives of students with special educational needs

(SEN), supporting their academic progress and personal development. You will

play a key role in supporting students both in and out of lessons, helping them

to achieve their full potential academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities

Provide targeted support for students with SEN,

implementing strategies from Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs). Assist individuals and groups of students in

their learning, ensuring they can access the curriculum effectively. Foster a positive and inclusive learning

environment to help students achieve their full potential. Establish supportive relationships with

students, fostering inclusion and acceptance. Deliver one-to-one and small group support

sessions as part of personalised learning programmes. Collaborate with class teachers to plan and

implement appropriate materials and strategies. Monitor and track the impact of interventions to

ensure progress. Contribute to EHCP reviews and ensure all

necessary support is in place. Attend staff meetings and training sessions as

required. Safeguard and promote the welfare of children at

all times.

Requirements

The successful candidate will:

Have strong written and oral communication

skills. Possess excellent organisational and

interpersonal abilities. Demonstrate a positive, β€˜can do’ attitude and a

commitment to helping every student fulfil their potential. Have knowledge of curriculum content and

strategies to support behaviour modification. Be flexible, resourceful, and passionate about

supporting children with SEN. Be able to work effectively as part of a team.
