We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Pastoral and Behaviour Support to join Priory School. This role is central to promoting a positive, inclusive environment where students feel safe, supported, and ready to learn. You will engage with students throughout the school day, including during arrival, breaktimes, and lunchtimes, building strong relationships and fostering a sense of belonging. As a visible and approachable presence across the school, you will play a key role in reinforcing positive behaviour and supporting students to make constructive choices.
The successful candidate will respond effectively to behaviour incidents, using de-escalation and conflict resolution techniques to support students in managing challenges and restoring positive interactions. You will lead lunchtime clubs to encourage engagement beyond the classroom and contribute to a vibrant school culture.
Maintaining accurate safeguarding records and providing guidance on relevant and current issues affecting young people will also form an important part of your responsibilities. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same, requiring adaptability, initiative, and a calm, solution-focused approach.
