Enthusiastic and calm under pressure Ability to build quick relationships
with children Be resilient Have an understanding of the barriers
that SEMH needs can pose for children with their learning Be adaptable and able to think on
your feet in challenging situations with excellent communication skills. Know how to use a range of
interventions that will support children to develop the skills necessary to
manage their emotions A keenness to work with external
professionals to support our most vulnerable children
Experience working with children,
particularly those with SEMH needs
Relevant qualifications in
education, child development, or a related field (desirable)
