Sports Centre Manager - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover) Hours of Work: 20 hours per week (May include some evening and weekend work) Full-Time Equivalent Salary: Grade 3, £27,254 - £33,699 Pro Rata (Actual Salary): £14,934 - £18,465 Required for September 2026 (possibility for an earlier start) NOR 1185 Including 186 in Sixth Form An excellent opportunity has arisen to join an extremely successful and forward-thinking Sports Centre within a high-performing school. The Sports Centre Manager will manage a team of sports technicians in helping to provide high-quality facilities for the community. We are seeking a dynamic Sports Centre Manager to lead and manage the daily operations of our multi-use sports facility. The ideal candidate will be a passionate and results-driven individual with a strong background in management, facility operations, and team leadership. The Sports Centre Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the sports centre, ensuring a positive and engaging experience for customers, students, and school staff. Bishop Challoner Catholic College is a highly successful, heavily over-subscribed mixed 11-19 Catholic comprehensive school in the South of Birmingham. We were designated one of the first 100 Teaching Schools in the country and we are also a lead school for the Central Maths Hub and the Schools Sports Partnership. The school has recently been designated as a Microsoft Showcase School in recognition of its excellence in innovation and the effective use of technology. In September 2024, we launched our SCITT which recruits and trains the next generation of inspirational teachers.
