Teaching Assistant - KS2 St Wilfrid's Catholic Academy St Wilfrid's Catholic Academy is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils academically and pastorally, helping them thrive in their learning and personal development within a nurturing, faith-led school community. Key Responsibilities Provide targeted academic support to pupils, helping them achieve their full potential. Offer pastoral care to promote wellbeing and emotional development. Work closely with class teachers to deliver high-quality learning experiences. Support the inclusion and progress of all pupils within the classroom environment. Hours 26.1 hours per week Monday - Thursday 8:30 - 15:10 / Friday 8:30 - 12:30 Start Date September 2026 Essential Skills & Experience Experience working with primary-aged pupils. Ability to support pupils both academically and pastorally. Commitment to working collaboratively within a professional team. Desirable Qualities Warm, patient, and approachable manner. Strong communication skills and ability to motivate and encourage pupils. Commitment to upholding the Catholic ethos and fostering a positive learning environment.
