We currently have an exciting opportunity for Teacher (SEN) to join our fantastic team at Camberwell Park Specialist School This is a permanent, full-time role on the Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale plus SEN allowance, ideally starting September 2026. The Opportunity We are seeking a passionate and committed SEN Teacher to join our specialist team. The successful candidate will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and be qualified to teach in the UK Have successful teaching experience and experience working with children and young people with additional needs Be an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations for all learners Understand the importance of personalised learning and adaptive teaching Be committed to promoting positive behaviour and pupil wellbeing Have strong communication and relationship-building skills Be reflective, resilient and committed to ongoing professional development Thrive in a collaborative and supportive team environment Be willing to contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment and extra-curricular opportunities What You'll Be Doing As a Teacher at Camberwell Park, you will fulfil the professional responsibilities outlined in the Teachers' Standards and School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Document. You will: Plan, deliver and evaluate engaging lessons that meet the diverse learning needs of pupils Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment where all pupils can succeed Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress, ensuring appropriate interventions are in place Support pupils' social, emotional and personal development alongside their academic achievement Promote positive behaviour for learning in line with school policies Contribute to the development of curriculum planning, teaching resources and assessment practices Work collaboratively with colleagues to continually improve teaching and learning Build positive relationships with parents, carers and external agencies to support pupil outcomes Contribute to school self-evaluation and improvement initiatives Participate in professional development opportunities and support the development of colleagues where appropriate Actively contribute to the wider life of the school community Why Join Camberwell Park?
