Bramcote College is seeking to appoint a highly organised and proactive cover supervisor to play a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of the school. This is a varied and critical operational role combining, Daily coordination of staff cover, Hands-on classroom supervision, Safeguarding and compliance responsibilities and Administrative oversight of staff absence and payroll processes. The successful candidate will ensure that learning continues seamlessly in the absence of teaching staff and that all cover arrangements are in place before the start of each school day. Key Responsibilities will include Plan, coordinate and communicate daily staff cover arrangements Monitor and manage staff absence using the school’s MIS system Process and approve staff leave of absence requests Maintain and update the Single Central Record (SCR) in line with statutory safeguarding requirements Liaise with supply agencies and act as the first point of contact for supply staff Support payroll processes and notify relevant external bodies where required Provide classroom supervision and support learning when required We are looking for someone who: Is highly organised and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Has strong administrative and communication skills Is confident working with IT systems and data Has a strong understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality Is flexible, reliable, and able to start early to ensure cover arrangements are in place before the school day begins Bramcote College is a friendly, inclusive and multicultural place to work and study.
