Music & Drama Teacher

We have a post available for a teacher of Music & Drama within our wonderful Performing Arts department. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and capable individual who wants to work with a team of people who are passionate and share a commitment to ensuring pupils have the best experience possible. This is a role suitable for a newly qualified or more experienced teacher, or someone who has a specialism and is looking for a route into the teaching profession. The music department at the Academy has been the beneficiary of significant investment from local charities enabling us to fund state of the art equipment. The performing arts department is an ambitious faculty which teaches an ambitious, rich and inspiring curriculum. As an all-through school, we have a vision of the highest quality opportunities for all of our pupils from when they start in primary right though to 16. Building upon the curriculum taught at Primary, children then join secondary from Year 7 and follow a three year curriculum which is carefully and thoughtfully sequenced equipping them to follow a BTEC qualification in KS4 should they wish to choose this as an option. Aspirations are high for all pupils and teachers in the department are enthusiastic and passionate about their subject. This is an exciting time to be joining the Academy.
