Main Purpose of the Role The successful candidate will be responsible for improving the standards of learning and raising levels of student achievement for all students in their care. They will fulfil the professional responsibilities common to all classroom teachers, meeting the Professional Standards for Teachers appropriate to their career stage. The key purpose of the role is to secure high standards of teaching, learning and achievement in English, ensuring all students make strong progress and are supported to reach their full potential. The post holder will be accountable to the Curriculum Leader, Senior Leader and ultimately the Headteacher.
