We are seeking to appoint an Achievement Support Assistant to join our SEND team from September, term time only. The position would suit a range of candidates, whether you are needing to work around the school runs, a college student on a gap year, or considering a career in teaching and would benefit from valuable classroom experience; we would love to hear from you. Full training will be provided, so finding the right person is our priority. The essential qualities required are someone who enjoys a good rapport with students as well as the desire to help them learn and succeed. Based in both the classroom and our dedicated learning support centre, you will have an innovative, creative approach to ensure students gain access to the work. As you will be assisting students access the curriculum, you must hold a GCSE in both Maths and English at a grade C or above/or equivalent. You will receive your salary in 12 equal payments. The post is for 38 working weeks per year (term time only), but you will be paid for 43.60 weeks of the year to include holiday pay.
