Attendance Welfare Officer The Two Counties Trust Grade and Salary: Grade 5: Β£27,007 - Β£28,858 actual salary per annum pro rata (Β£31,537 - Β£33,699 FTE) Working pattern: 37 hours / 39 working weeks (Term time plus INSET days) Contract term: Permanent The Trust is recruiting for an Attendance Welfare Officer to work with our schools, located within Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. The role will work with families, external agencies and colleagues to respond to, support, and implement student and family engagement strategies as part of the early help offer, which in turn enable the barriers faced by young people to achieving positive attendance patterns at school to be overcome. The successful applicant will have experience of working with young people in a variety of settings and with vulnerable families / young people who experience challenging circumstances. To secure the role you will need to understand the barriers to learning and attending school which are faced by young people and how they can be overcome. As this role includes home visits, a full driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use is also required. Why join us?
