Cleaner Stamford Welland Academy Start date: September 2026 (or sooner for the right candidate) Hours: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday Working weeks: 39 weeks per year (term time plus 5 additional days) Stamford Welland Academy is seeking to appoint a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our dedicated site team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our students, staff and visitors. About the role You will be responsible for carrying out a range of cleaning duties across the school site to a high standard. This includes toilets, corridors, offices and communal areas, ensuring the academy remains a positive learning environment for all. Key responsibilities include: Cleaning toilets, offices and shared spaces Vacuuming, mopping and dusting Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately Replenishing cleaning supplies Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety standards We are looking for someone who: Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work Has a strong attention to detail Can work both independently and as part of a team Has a positive and flexible approach Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential About Meridian Trust Meridian Trust is a values-led organisation formed in 2011 that has risen to be one of the highest-performing academy trusts in the country.
