Teaching Assistant - Pupil Specific (personal care)

We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant - Pupil Specific (with personal care) to join our school in September 2026 Start Date: 01 Sept 2026 Hours: 30hrs and 50mins per week. 39 weeks per year (term time +1 week) Salary: Scale D, £13.47 - £13.68/hour. Approx. £18,340 - £18,630/year (£25,989 - £26,403/per year FTE based on a 37hr week – Please note this salary will be paid pro rata) Temporary till 31st Aug 2027 Email: recruitment@westnorfolkacademiestrust.co.uk St Clements High School : https://www.stclementshigh.org.uk/ Purpose of the Job   Working 1-1 with a student you will implement the strategies and advice included in their Education, Health and Care Plan and assist with personal care (toileting support) including moving and handling with specialist equipment. Full training will be provided. Work with teachers to raise the learning and attainment of the student while also promoting their independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion. You will provide support so that they can access the curriculum, participate in learning, and experience a sense of achievement. You will liaise with external professionals alongside the SENCO.
