About the role

T The Sixth Form at Bishop Vesey’s Grammar School represents the chance to work with some great young people, from a variety of backgrounds and with numerous interests. They work hard (81% of A Level grades were between A* and B last year) and contribute a great deal to our school community. Along with the school as a whole, our Sixth Form provision was judged as outstanding by Ofsted in April 2024. This state-of-the-art, three-storey building is a vibrant hub at the heart of the school and offers dedicated Sixth Form study and social areas adding a new dimension to the experience in our school for both students and staff. We are seeking a committed and compassionate Sixth Form Futures and Enrichment Manager to play a key role in supporting the academic and personal success of our Sixth Form students. You will work closely with the Head of Sixth Form and Sixth Form Leadership Team to foster high standards of behaviour, attendance, and well-being. K Key responsibilities include: Support Sixth Form students in securing high-quality Post 18 Destinations Oversee the UCAS Process Champion Degree Apprenticeships and support those who wish to apply Develop academic enrichment opportunities for Sixth Formers to help them enhance their academic CV Contribute to the wider running of a large and vibrant Sixth Form  What we’re looking for: A proactive and caring individual with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills Experience in pastoral care or working with young people in an educational setting A strong understanding of safeguarding and student welfare Ability to lead, manage and build trust with students and staff alike Join us in helping our students achieve their full potential in a supportive, dynamic environment.
