Our Opportunity We are looking for two enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our team as Midday Supervisory Assistants. In this important part-time role, you will help ensure that our pupils enjoy a safe, happy, and engaging lunchtime experience, both during meals and playtime. This opportunity is ideal for those looking to balance work with other commitments, explore a career working with children, or gain valuable experience towards becoming a Teaching Assistant. We’re seeking friendly, reliable team players who are passionate about supporting children and promoting positive behaviour and social development during the school day. Working in our school is incredibly rewarding as we all work together as part of ‘Team Overdale’ enriching the educational experience of our pupils.

Key duties: Keep an eye on playgrounds, fields, cloakrooms, and classrooms during lunch Help clear away food and equipment after meals Handle minor first aid and report incidents properly Support behaviour management and report concerns Spot and report unusual or inappropriate behaviour Settle small disputes between pupils Help with lunchtime activities and equipment setup You will have: English and Maths GCSE level ‘C’ equivalent Awareness of health and hygiene issues Experience appropriate to working with children Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to work successfully in a team
