As Head of Year, you will lead and support a team of Form Tutors, champion high standards of behaviour, attendance and achievement, and provide outstanding pastoral care to students within your year group. The Role As Head of Year, you will: Lead a team of Form Tutors to support studentsβ academic, social and emotional development Promote excellent attendance, punctuality and behaviour Build positive relationships with students, families and external agencies Monitor student progress and implement effective interventions Deliver assemblies and contribute to the wider life of the school Maintain high expectations and foster a positive ethos across the year group Support safeguarding and student wellbeing at all times This role would suit someone who: Has experience working with young people and families Is highly organised, resilient and self-motivated Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills Can inspire, motivate and support students to achieve their best Is committed to safeguarding and inclusive practice Wants to make a genuine difference every single day What We Offer At Consilium Academies, we value and invest in our staff.
