We are seeking a teacher who:
Has
a good knowledge and understanding of the KS2 curriculum,
including good personal subject and pedagogical knowledge.
Is
committed to professional development and works well with colleagues to
continuously reflect on and improve their own knowledge and skills
Has
a proven track record of raising attainment and accelerating progress for
all children, including SEND and the most able
Has
an engaging and dynamic style of teaching which fosters independence and
resilience
Is
able to make the most of our coastal and rural setting to give excellent
opportunities to all children
Has
high standards for behaviour and high expectations of what children can
achieve
Is
able to build good relationships with the whole school community to help
keep children safe and ensure that they thrive academically and personally
Is
able to contribute to subject leadership
Desirable:
Experience
of teaching a mixed age class
Any
outdoor teaching qualification or experience, e.g. Forest Schools or Beach Schools
