We are looking to appoint a full time Technology Technician to assist teaching staff in providing students at Nicholas Breakspear Catholic School in the delivery of Design & Technology and ensure high levels of achievement. The successful candidate will provide support to the Design & Technology department including, but not limited to support to Technology, 3D Design, Food and hospitality and catering. Hours : Full Time (37 hours per week) - Term time only plus 5 inset days and 1 week during summer holidays to prepare for the new academic year. Days/Times: Monday - Thursday 8am to 4pm, Fridays 8am - 3.30pm (with 30-minute unpaid lunch break each day) Annual Leave : 5.8 weeks (paid pro-rata for part-time) to be taken during school holidays - (45.8 weeks paid per year) Grade : H4., Scale Point.6 to H4, Scale point9 - dependent on experience Salary : FTE £ 26718 - £27,983 (actual salary will be between £23,532 and £24,646 pro-rata) for 45.8 weeks - paid over 12 equal monthly instalments) Closing Date: 17th June 2026 Interviews: w/c 22nd June 2026 - please note that interviews may take place earlier than the closing date.
