Job description and person specification summary At St Laurence Catholic Primary School we are seeking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our skilled and hardworking team. The successful candidate will: be passionate about working with children; have a flexible, 'can-do' attitude; inspire, motivate and challenge our pupils; be able to form excellent relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues; be supportive of the school's Catholic ethos. The successful candidate will have the following key skills, experience, and qualifications: education to GCSE or equivalent level, including Grade 4 or above (previously Grade C) in English and maths; HLTA qualification, or willingness to work towards this; experience in EYFS and Key Stage 1 is advantageous; experience of planning and leading teaching activities; knowledge of how to support learners in accessing the curriculum in accordance with the SEND code of practice.
