Part time Cleaner

St Laurence In Thanet Church of England Junior Academy are looking to appoint a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to join our friendly site team. The successful candidate will help maintain a clean, safe and hygienic environment for pupils, staff and visitors, and be able to adapt to the changing needs of a busy school environment . Key Information: This post is for 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday 3:30pm-5:30pm term time only (38 weeks). Duties will include: Cleaning classrooms, offices and communal areas Hoovering, sweeping and mopping floors Cleaning toilets and wash areas Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly Using cleaning equipment and products safely Adapting cleaning tasks as required to meet the needs of the school The ideal candidate will: Be hardworking, dependable and trustworthy Have good attention to detail Be flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities Be able to work independently and as part of a team Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential We warmly encourage visits to the school.
