Teaching Assistant, Lunchtime Playworker/Classroom Technician and Afterschool Club Assistant Corsham Primary School (Pound Pill site) Job summary Corsham Primary School (Pound Pill site) is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and adaptable individual to join our team in a combined role as Teaching Assistant, Lunchtime Playworker/Classroom Technician, and After School Club Leader. This is a varied and rewarding position supporting children throughout the school day and beyond. Within the classroom, you will work closely with teachers to support learning, deliver targeted support, and assist with practical activities that enhance pupils’ progress and engagement. During lunchtime, you will help provide a safe, positive, and enjoyable play environment, promoting inclusion and positive behaviour. As After School Club Leader, you will take responsibility for leading a safe, engaging, and nurturing after-school provision, planning and delivering creative and stimulating activities that support children’s development, independence, and confidence. Strong teamwork, initiative, and excellent communication skills are essential, as you will work closely with colleagues across the school and build positive relationships with pupils and parents. We are looking for someone reliable, flexible, and proactive, with a genuine passion for supporting children and contributing to a positive school community. Salary range: Teaching Assistant - D4-D6, £25,185-£25,989 FTE Lunchtime Playworker/Classroom Technician - B3, £24,796 FTE After School Club Leader - G12- G14 £29,064-£31,022 FTE Actual Salary: Teaching Assistant - £2852 - £2943 per annum Lunchtime Playworker/Classroom Technician - £2765 per annum After School Club Leader - £9875-£10,540 per annum Please note: All three roles are linked so if you resign from one you have to resign from the other two roles simultaneously. Working hours: Lunchtime Playworker/Classroom Technician - 5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, working 38 weeks per year (term time, excluding TD days) Teaching Assistant - 5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, working 38 weeks per year (term time, excluding TD days) Afterschool Club Leader - 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, working 38 weeks per year (term time, excluding TD days) Working pattern: Lunchtime Playworker/Classroom Technician - 12:00pm - 1:15pm Teaching Assistant - 1.15 pm - 2.30pm Afterschool Club Leader - 3.00pm to 6.00pm We’re happy to talk flexible working options in regards to all our roles.
