Job Title: Cleaning Operative
Actual Annual Salary: £8,439 - £8,615 Based on hours and works worked Full Time Equivalent Salary: £24,310- £24,819 (CLF Grade Ai) Based on 37 hours per week, term time only + 5 inset days
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Part Time, 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday 4.00pm - 7.00pm. Term time only Provisional Start date: 3rd September 2026 Your opportunity to assist in the provision of a high standard of cleaning, ensuring the academy is a clean and safe environment for students, staff, and visitors. We are looking for a Cleaning Operative to join our supportive and talented team at City Academy Bristol. We are a diverse multi-academy trust with a passion for transforming our students’ learning.
To be successful in this post we are looking for a Cleaner who will work as part of a team and/or individually to assist in the provision of a high standard of cleaning, ensuring the Academy is a clean and safe environment. This opportunity will require someone to work once the academy has closed for the day, starting at 4pm and finishing at 7pm. About you: You will have:
Knowledge of the use of basic cleaning methods, equipment, and materials.
Practical experience of understanding and following processes and procedures.
Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
A keen interest in working within an education based environment and commitment to inclusion and acceptance of all.
