Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging and effective Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing clear feedback to support improvement Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes high expectations Use a range of teaching strategies and technologies to engage learners Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning Support the pastoral system as a Form Tutor Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external partners Participate fully in school life, including extra-curricular activities What We Are Looking For Essential: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) A degree in a relevant subject Experience teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities Commitment to high standards and student achievement Strong communication and organisational skills Desirable: Awareness of current GCSE developments Experience of innovative teaching approaches and use of ICT Experience contributing to curriculum development Why Join Us?
