and skilled Art & Performing Arts Technician to support our vibrant Art,
Music, and Drama departments. In this exciting and varied role, you’ll work alongside

(Hindu) state school which welcomed the first intake of Year 7 students in
September 2018, and first intake of Nursery and Reception students in September
2022. The school is rapidly expanding and will grow year by year to a full

What will you do? Support
teaching staff across Art, Music, and Drama by preparing materials, maintaining
equipment, and assisting with lessons and practical demonstrations. Manage
the setup, dismantling, and safe storage of apparatus for lessons,
performances, exhibitions, and displays across the creative arts departments. Oversee
stock control, including ordering, checking, and maintaining materials and
equipment, and carrying out minor repairs where appropriate. Ensure
all areas and resources are kept tidy and safe, including the maintenance of
health and safety standards and risk assessments. What are we looking for? Educated to GCSE – including in English, mathematics
and science Experience and excellent track record in the field of
health and safety in a support role Working knowledge of Art materials and processes Good organisational skills and ability to manage, and
use resources effectively and efficiently An ability to work creatively as an individual and as
part of a team
