About the role

Are you an experienced Early Years Leader or Setting Manager eager for your next professional challenge? The Bristol & Beyond Early Years Stronger Practice Hub, covering the north of the SW region, is recruiting for three Subject Leads. These three rewarding Early Years Learning Lead roles, will each specialise in a distinct area: Maths, Communication and Language, and Personal, Social and Emotional Development (PSED). As an Early Years Learning Lead, you will facilitate high-quality DfE-approved CPD for practitioners, provide specialist subject support to Early Years settings, and engage in regional and national networking with fellow professionals. Your expertise and passion will be instrumental in driving excellence and innovation across the sector. Maths Lead (3 days per week or 114 days per year): Champion mathematical learning and development, supporting practitioners to embed numeracy and spatial reasoning in everyday practice. Join us and help shape the future of Early Years education! These roles will be contracted by the SPH on an L1 - L4 pay rate, or equivalent daily rate, to be confirmed. They are funded up until March 2028 in the first instance, with the possibility of contracts being extended dependent on funding. These roles can be term time only with some holiday working, or all year round, however the number of days per year is fixed. We will consider job shares. Roles can be undertaken in one of three ways: Being paid directly as a self-employed contractor / consultant By agreed release from your existing role, with payment be made to your setting for your release Possible fixed term contract up to March 2028 Closing date : Wednesday 17th June at 9am.
