We are seeking an enthusiastic, caring and committed individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant. This is a rewarding role where you will play an important part in supporting pupils' learning, development and wellbeing.

Vacancy Details

Hours: 30.83 hours per week

Working Pattern: 7:25am – 3:20pm

Essential Requirements

GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/Grade 4 or above (or equivalent).

Experience of working with children or young people is desirable.

A genuine commitment to supporting children's learning and development.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

A positive, flexible and proactive approach.

Someone who could potentially work in any area of our school (from 2 years to 11 years old)

Key Responsibilities

Under direction, you will:

Support the supervision and care of pupils, including those with special educational needs.

Assist with the preparation of learning resources and classroom organisation.

Help maintain a clean, tidy and safe learning environment.

Engage children in purposeful play and physical activities.

Support pupils with their personal, social and emotional development.

Supervise and interact positively with pupils, encouraging good behaviour and positive social skills.

Assist in creating an environment where effective learning can take place.

Work in accordance with school policies and procedures.

Take responsibility for your own health and safety and that of others.
