Our thriving and ambitious Religion, Philosophy and Ethics (RE) department offers a rich and academically rigorous curriculum across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. At Key Stage 3, students follow a carefully designed and highly engaging scheme of learning that develops their knowledge and understanding of religion, philosophy and ethics, while also nurturing critical thinking, evaluation and discussion skills.   RPE is a popular and successful subject at Key Stage 4, with consistently strong uptake reflected in eight option groups. We follow the AQA A specification and achieve excellent outcomes at the end of Year 11, with results consistently well above the national average.   At Key Stage 5, the subject continues to flourish, with three A-level groups currently studying the OCR specification.
