After School Club Assistant

We are seeking a warm, enthusiastic and reliable After School Club Assistant to join our Primary and Nursery team. This is an exciting opportunity to support children at the end of the school day, helping to deliver a safe, engaging and nurturing environment where pupils can learn, play and relax. About the Role You will work under the direction of the After School Club Leader to: Supervise children during a range of activities, including outdoor play Prepare and serve healthy snacks Support children’s learning, development and wellbeing Set up and tidy away equipment Maintain accurate records Communicate effectively with parents and carers Follow safeguarding procedures at all times About You We are looking for someone who: Enjoys working with children and understands their needs Can supervise groups safely and positively Is friendly, patient and able to work as part of a team Is reliable, organised and committed to high standards Is willing to undertake relevant training Experience working with children is essential, and a childcare/playwork qualification is desirable.
