As an Academic Interventions Practitioner (AIP), this is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your skills and experience as part of the Academic Interventions team. With a passion for delivering interventions, you will be working closely with the teachers and support staff to enhance the promotion and development of academic interventions across the provision. Churchward School is an innovative special school in Swindon supporting students with social, communication and interaction difficulties find their place in the world. We provide exceptional outcomes for students through a combination of emotional regulation, social interaction and academic progress giving our students the tools they need to take the next steps life, whatever they might be. We provide an opportunity for students to integrate in a mainstream environment whilst supported by specialist staff to develop independence and employability skills as well as continue their academic progress. this will provide the missing link between school and further education for young people with an EHCP not ready to fully transition.
