Teacher of English (Maternity Cover up to 1 year)

We are currently recruitin g for a part time Teacher of

English (maternity cover).

You

will work alongside Principal Jessica Stevenson and the UTC staff to develop a

centre of excellence focusing on Computing, Health Science and Sport Science. Under

the direction of the Curriculum Director for English and Communications you

will directly teach GCSE

English Language and English Literature.

At Post-16 you may also deliver GCSE English resit courses and A-Level

English Literature.

You will be a highly

skilled practitioner who understands the challenges of educating 13–19-year-olds

in an employer led technology rich environment. Effective partnership working

is absolutely critical to the UTC’s success. We also welcome applications from

newly qualified teachers who have the skills and attributes to develop their

expertise within our unique environment.
