Foxwood Academy is seeking to appoint, a talented, enthusiastic and dedicated individual to the role of Foxwood Specialist Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible. 37 hours per week, term time only, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8.30am to 4.30pm, Friday 8.30am to 4pm Foxwood Academy is an all-age area special school for over 112 pupils aged 4-18, offering support for a wide range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work with some of our most complex secondary age children. At Foxwood, we have a highly skilled team of around 60 dedicated staff members, wholly committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for our students. We provide a safe, nurturing environment where every student, each with an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP), is empowered to achieve their fullest potential. Around 75% of our students have an Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC or ASD), and others have sensory and/or physical needs.
