The role: Location: Healing Academy, Grimsby Salary Scale: Main payscale M1-M6 Note to Applicants: We are looking for an exemplary classroom practitioner. For an exceptional candidate who demonstrates the ability to take on additional leadership responsibilities and drive student achievement, there may be the possibility of a discussion around a Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR) allowance. Reports to: Assistant Principal Closing Date: Midnight, Monday 1st June 2026 Interviews will be held: To be confirmed Start Date: September 2026 As a Teacher of IT & Business, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, challenging lessons that engage and motivate students across KS3 and KS4. You will join a team dedicated to academic excellence and personal growth, ensuring that our students acquire the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in the future Key Responsibilities: Plan and teach well-organised lessons informed by up-to-date pedagogical and subject knowledge. Use a range of strategies and E-Learning tools to meet diverse learner needs and raise pupil attainment. Maintain a secure understanding of the IT & Business curriculum and its contribution to cross-curricular learning. Establish a purposeful and safe learning environment, managing behavior constructively in line with school policies. Support the social, emotional, and behavioral skills of students, acting as a role model and contributing to the wider school ethos. The Person: What We Are Looking For You are an exemplary classroom practitioner who is reflective, resilient, and committed to driving up standards. Essential Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant Undergraduate Degree. Experience teaching in a secondary environment (KS3 & KS4). Exceptional IT skills and a commitment to continuous professional development. A deep understanding of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to the wellbeing of young people.
