Netley Primary School · London, London
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Interim SENDCO position in this innovative and ambitious school. As the numbers of children with SEND have increased in the mainstream school, the Governing Body is seeking to appoint an experienced and highly skilled teacher, or retired Head/SLT to join the inclusion team as the Interim SENDCO across mainstream (Yr1-6) and Woodlands. This role will collaborate with the current Interim Lead SENDCO (EYFS) and the Woodlands SEND team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about teaching, is creative and hard working with excellent organisational and digital skills. This role will be based across the Netley mainstream (Yr1-6) initially for a 1 year fixed term contract, while the long term needs of the school are considered. MPS/UPS + SEND allowance & TLR2 Part-time (ideally 3 days per week- can be negotiated depending on experience of candidates) Netley Primary School is an inclusive school, exuding a warmth and generosity of spirit that comes from our happy children and diverse school community. The school is set within Netley Campus, a state-of-the-art learning environment for children and adults. We have 380 children, including Woodlands, a centre for children with Autism. In 2024 OFSTED judged both Netley and Woodlands as ‘Outstanding’ in 4 of 5 categories, and commented; “Pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are extremely well supported. Throughout the school, pupils work hard, listen carefully and are proud of their achievements”.
