We are looking for a person who is passionate about the Early Years Foundation Stage and supporting children at this stage of their development. Applicants must have a minimum of a Level 3 EYFS qualification as recognised by the DfE (and is listed here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-qualifications-achieved-in-england ) It is also advantageous for applicants to hold a current Paediatric First Aid qualification. Ideal candidates will: Have recent experience of working with EYFS children. Have a recent background of effective working with children with significant physical needs: this will include their personal care and the manual support that this entails. Be confident to work independently under the directions provided by teachers, health specialists and the Senior Leadership Team. Have experience of and working knowledge of safeguarding children in an education setting. Have additional qualifications to support their effective practice, such as Paediatric First Aid, or other similar professional development relevant to working with children of this age and stage of development. Have good interpersonal skills; with children and young people, their parents and the wider school community. Have a strong team spirt and the flexibility to work under direction from their class teacher but also know when and how to use their initiative to best effect for the children.
