The Family support worker will be responsible for identifying, organising and implementing interventions to support children and families, be a key member of the safeguarding team and work closely alongside all staff. You will represent the school in professional meetings and be competent in collating and presenting information in a succinct and accurate manner. Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday 8.30-4.30pm Friday 8:30 - 3.30pm The applicant will have: the ability to empower families to be successful and happy appreciate our diverse families and understand their starting points excellent communication, organisational and administrative skills be fully committed to inclusion and participation for all support families where there are early signs of social, emotional, health, behavioural needs, deprivation or other additional needs experience and qualifications of leading parenting classes experience of working with different agencies to support families work with school and families to improve attendance experience of working within all areas of safeguarding i.e. Child Protection, Child in need and Early Help.
