In lessons, their conduct is exemplary.” We know our school well but we are not complacent. We are constantly seeking to improve, and deliver outstanding education to the community we serve - a community that we are very proud to be a part of. This post is a crucial one to the school. You will deliver English to the full age and ability range, including GCSE English Language and GCSE English Literature. You will be part of the skilled eight-person English department. You will also be expected to be a form tutor. Time-management skills, patience and a good work ethic are essential, as are excellent interpersonal skills. Over 50% of our students achieved a Grade 5+ in English & Maths. 41% of our SEN students achieved a Grade 4+ in English & Maths. As has been the case for many years now, all of our headline measures are well above national averages. We are committed to improving yet again this academic year, and we are determined to do so.
