This is a non-teaching role focussed on supporting students, staff and families on improving student attendance across the academy. The main focus of this role is to manage the administration of pupil attendance systems, including data management and analysis, in support of the school’s achievement of its attendance targets and to sustain ongoing improvements in pupil attendance.

What you will do to be successful here:
Manage the administration of pupil attendance systems, including data management and analysis, in support of the school’s achievement of its attendance targets and to sustain ongoing improvements in pupil attendance. Lead the Student Services and Attendance Team to secure the regular attendance of students of statutory school age, meeting with students and families and liaising and working closely with external agencies. Where necessary, carry out the statutory duty of legal action when all efforts to improve a student’s attendance have failed. About you
Experience of working in a school or a similar environment. Ability to adhere to working procedures and policies within the school environment. Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Good ICT skills. Be patient, flexible and adaptable, meticulous and conscientious. Ability to manage own time effectively. About us
