Key responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging and effective Science lessons across the secondary age range Assess, monitor and report on student progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs Promote high standards of behaviour and create a positive learning environment Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum and department Support students to achieve strong academic outcomes Participate in wider school duties, including enrichment and extra-curricular activities Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community What weβre looking for Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science Experience of teaching in a secondary school setting (or strong ECT potential) High expectations of student achievement and behaviour Ability to engage and inspire learners of all abilities Strong communication and teamwork skills Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students A proactive and reflective approach to professional development Interested in Applying?
