1:1 Teaching Assistant - BSL qualified 30 hours per week Monday to Friday 8.30 - 3.30pm Term time only plus 5 days for training days Ongoing attached to a child contract Grade 2 - 3 (SCP 5-17) dependent on qualification and experience Are you passionate about children’s education? Are you looking to work with children with additional needs within a mainstream setting? Our friendly school is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated teaching assistant to support a deaf child who will be in our Year 1 class in September. The child uses British Sign Language to communicate, therefore it is essential that any prospective candidates are qualified to at least a level 2 standard. Previous experience of working with deaf children is desirable.
